About Julian Grajales
Julian Grajales lives in the same apartment he was raised in by two Colombian immigrant parents who decided to make Queens, NYC - land stolen from the Lenape & Canarsie nations - their home. He is a legal worker/union delegate by day that still finds time to read and write speculative fiction, play the Colombian gaita flute, and spend time with his wife and family.
He received his Bachelor’s degree from CUNY City College and is planning on attending the MFA Creative Writing program at his alma mater. Some of his past projects include Working Class Heroes Radio, a Lt. Governor Campaign for the Green Party in 2014, and several other campaigns for social justice - (the Campaign to Shut Down Rikers, the Free Prakash Alliance, and others).
